On June 15th, the study group of the history project of Junior High School Attached to Tsinghua University, led by teacher Wang Min and Teacher Liu Ning, visited Tongrentang Zhimao Health Zero store。Zhiwell health is a super IP integrating traditional Chinese medicine culture and contemporary health management that Tongrentang focuses on building, and its "zero shop" is also an important science popularization base。The visit was strongly supported by Xu Wenbing, Vice president of Tsinghua High School and Zhang Biao, Director of Teaching Management and Research Center。
At the beginning, students are deeply attracted by Asia's largest "24H not closing" unmanned drug selling machine, which can accommodate more than 9,000 kinds of goods, and feel the integration of modern high-tech and traditional Chinese medicine。

On the second floor, students learned about the concept of Tongrentang health therapy, the theory of Chinese health preservation in the 24 solar terms and modern medical means to achieve an organic combination here, and felt the upgrading of Tongrentang from a pharmaceutical enterprise to a large health industry。

Before that, students also went to Beijing Tongrentang Pharmacy (Qinghuayuan Store) interview survey。In the pharmacy, the students learned about different types of Chinese medicine produced by Tongrentang, followed the clerk to identify the herbs, and made mosquito repellent sachets with their own hands, feeling the broad and profound Chinese medicine culture。

In the course of studying modern Chinese history in this semester, the students showed great interest in Tongrentang, a demonstration enterprise of public-private partnership in Beijing, hoping to gain an in-depth understanding of the socialist transformation, the most profound social change in Chinese history。Under the guidance of Teacher Liu Ning and Teacher Wang Min from the History lesson preparation group of Grade Two, the students carried out the history project learning with the theme of Tong Ren Tang。Through two practical activities, students compared the traditional management and new retail mode of Tongrentang, more experienced the time-honored brand, and learned history, felt history and understood history from the social class。In the new era, Tongrentang takes on the glorious mission of "serving the people's health and promoting the revitalization of traditional Chinese medicine"。The students of Affiliated High School in the new era will also shoulder the historical responsibility of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation。

In the past, speaking of Tongrentang, I would think of the strong herbal flavor, think of those strange recipes, and think of those nagging Chinese medicine。This visit gave me a new understanding of Tongrentang, traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese culture。
Just arrived at the Tongrentang Zhiwell retail store, I was shocked to see the scene, as soon as I entered the door, I saw a vending machine that took up a wall。The instructor told us that this machine is the largest vending machine in Asia。Looking at this machine in front of me, I was very shocked that the pharmacy can also be so advanced。
As I walked inside, I realized that this was no simple drugstore。Ancient medicinal materials are processed and packed into red bottles like cosmetics, which suddenly become fashionable items for beauty maintenance。Traditional Chinese medicine health ingredients added to bread, into coffee, into the wine, a blink of an eye will turn into a sweet into the heart。All kinds of herbs enter the bag, turn into perfume, and in the blink of an eye, become the dense fragrance in the air。
Through this visit, I understand that Chinese traditional culture is the embodiment of people's closeness to nature。Traditional culture is not just old and out of date。As long as we uphold the spirit of integrity and innovation, traditional culture can become fashionable and shine again in the new era。
